During 1945c Ernest married Agnes Maude Minnie Ezzy in the Burwood area, NSW
Commenced return to Australia on 15 May 1919 on board HT Orontes disembarking on the 1 July 1919

Ernest was aged 18 years and six months when he enlisted however declared he was 21 years old.
Nephew to Sergeant Thomas Charles Foster (12/10/1869 - 21/06/1916) - Service number 2201 - Hospital Transport Corps.
Nephew to (unmarried) Sister Edith Annie Foster - (08/09/1874 - 24/05/1949) - No. 2 Australian General Hospital.

Ernest married Vera Mary Margaret Luck (1899 - 1925) in Burwood N.S.W 1920 and had two daughters.
Unfortunately their daughter Doris born 1922 died of Tuberculosis Meningitis in 1923.
Ernest's wife Vera died of Pulmonary Tuberculosis 1925.
Their daughter Vera Jean (1920 - 2007) known as Jean was raised by Ernest's mother Eliza Louisa.
Ernest had three children to Agnes Maude Minnie Butler (nee Ezzy). (1891 - 1955).
