24 May 1917: Embarked AIF WW1, Private, 7260, Embarked at Melbourne for Plymouth, England, on HMAT Clan Mac Gillivray arriving 28 July 1917. On arrival, transferred to Fargo Hospital, sick.
16 May 1918: Embarked AIF WW1, Private, 7260, 3rd Infantry Battalion, While in a training in England, it was discovered that Clarrie was underage. He was sent back to Australia on the "Essex".
