14 Nov 1916:	Enlisted AIF WW1, Private, 7260, Enlisted at Cootamundra, NSW. Aged 18 years and 3 months. Single. Next of Kin: Mother, Elizabeth Harper of Cowra, NSW. Assigned to 2nd Battalion, Cootamundra Training Camp.
24 May 1917:	Embarked AIF WW1, Private, 7260, Embarked at Melbourne for Plymouth, England, on HMAT Clan Mac Gillivray arriving 28 July 1917. On arrival, transferred to Fargo Hospital, sick.
16 May 1918:	Embarked AIF WW1, Private, 7260, 3rd Infantry Battalion, While in a training in England, it was discovered that Clarrie was underage. He was sent back to Australia on the "Essex".
