Your gallant contribution to our freedom nearly 100 years ago was remembered today, Sunday 28th December 2014, by your great grandchildren Gregory Slater and Sandra Lyon (née Slater) and great great grandchildren Alexandria, Lucy and Sidney Slater, Lauren, Sarah and Rachel Lyon by placement of a poppy on your honour board at the Australian War Memorial in Canberra.
