Son of Charles Lucas Griffith and Isabel Georgina Griffith, of "Myoora," Irving Rd., Toorak, Melbourne, Victoria.
As a young man he bore a stainless reputation, and this glorious death in action for his country's cause — the grandest death a man could die — was a worthy close to a worthy life.
GRIFFITH.—In loving memory of Private Geoffrey Carmichael Griffith, 14th Battalion, A.I.F., who died of wounds received at Pozieres, France, 9th August, 1916, the beloved son of Chas. L. and Isabel Griffith, late of "Marathon," Toorak.
