Eric Edgar Driscoll
Son of Thomas and Henrietta Driscoll of Recherche Bay, Tasmania. Eric's brothers, Darcy Wilmot, and Sidney Frederick all enlisted for service.
He left for France on the troop ship "Ulysses" on the 27th October 1915.
He was wounded in action in France, and had achieved the rank of Corporal.
Eric returned to Australia on 24th December 1918 on the "Takada".
After the war Eric, like his elder brother Darcy, he sat for his seaman's examinations and achieved the level of Master, of home trading ships in 1921.
