Herbert was born on the 1st April 1889 at Loganlea.
He died on the 21st October 1917 in Belvium and is remembered at the Belgium Battery Ypres Corner Cemetery.
His parents were John and Anna Marie nee Love.
He is on the Museum Honour Roll as he is a member of the Pioneer Family "Love"
His Cousin Stanley Lloyd Service No. 1820 also served WW1.
