PLUMB.—In loving memory of our dear son and brother, Lance-Corporal Richard Joseph Plumb, who died of wounds in France, September 28th, 1917.
To a grave in France our sad thoughts roam,
To where our boy sleeps far from home :
And though his face we cannot see,
We hold him dear in memory,
And leave him safely in the hands
Of Him who knows and understands.
He had feared no death when honour
summoned him to Britain's aid,
Now he rests in shrouds of glory, every
debt of honour paid.
Inserted by his loving parents, brothers and sister.
