Adam Wallace Glover (SN 159) was born in Sebastopol where he attended the local state school. He was 28-years-old, single, Miner when he enlisted on 5th February, 1915. He joined the 22nd Infantry Battalion and left Australia in May. He saw action at Gallipoli before moving to France in March 1916. He was seriously wounded at Pozieres and died on 11th August 1916. He is buried in the Etaples Military Cemetery, France.

Word was recived from the Defence department by Mrs Glover of 405 Raglan street north, that her son, Adam Wallace Glover has been dangerously wounded in the spine in France.

Pte A. W. Glover, who died of wounds in France on the 1st August, was born at Sebastopol, and was 29 years of age. He enlisted on the 12th  February, 1915, and left Australia with the 22nd Battalion, Third Contingent. He served for five months in Gallipoli as sapper, and was there till the  evacuation. He was well liked by all who knew him. Another brother, George F., is serving in France.
