"...2804 Private Robert Arthur Brown, 9th Reinforcements, 8th Battalion, of South Melbourne, Vic, aged 18. Pte Brown enlisted on 7 July 1915 and embarked from Melbourne aboard HMAT Makarini on 15 September 1915.
