Spr Edgar Paul Hicks 1228, 3 TUN. COY.
I've had this Victory Medal from my first few years of collecting, unfortunately it's only on its own. I don't know what medals this Warrior was entitled to but here is his Service number and details.
One guy from another group I am on told me, that it's written in documents about the Australian Tunneling Company, that 1228 E.P. Hicks: that "he was WOUNDED in hand-to-hand fighting when he came across against GERMAN IMPERIAL FORCES underground in a TUNNEL."
I contacted some group in Australia about 20 years ago when I first got this medal. They told me either he or his Mother was originally from Birmingham, England. Maybe someone on here might know.
A medal to a Tunnelling Company, is as rare as hens teeth.

From Digger cobber Pierre Seillier
He was wounded at Fromelles, the 3rd Australian Tunneling Company fought in the sector of the Rhonda Sapp on the Sugar Loaf salient on 19/20 July 1916. For those who have an interest on the battle of Fromelles it is a treasure..
