The details provided are taken from the book "Stealth Raiders - a few daring men in 1918" written by Lucas Jordan, published 2017, refer to page 269. Prior to the war he was a boilermaker of Paddington NSW. Enlisted 4th Jan 1916, aged 23 years. Allocated to the 4th Infantry Battalion, but transferred to the 56th Infantry Battalion. He survived the war, departed the UK for home 12th July 1919.
