"Mr. L. I. Ralph

The death occurred in Launceston on Wednesday of Mr. Loris Ivan (Jim) Ralph. The late Mr. Ralph, who was born at Westbury, was employed for many years by the Tasmanian Government Railways. An original member of the 12th Battalion, 1st A.I.F., he served in Gallipoli and in France. He leaves a widow, five sons (Loris, George, Jack, Ray and Peter), a daughter (Mrs. J. Willis, of Beaconsfield), and nine grandchildren. The pall-bearers at the funeral yesterday were Messrs. J. H. Binns, J. Margison, C. French, C. C. Moore, V. Salter and A. Williamson. The chief mourners were Mrs L. I. Ralph, Mrs. J. Willis, Messrs. Jim, George, Jack, Ray and Peter: daughters-in-law, Eileen, Fay, Mavis, Coral, and son-in-law, Mr. J. Willis; Mrs. G. Ballard (sister), and Mr. George Ralph (brother). The service was conducted by the Rev. K. A. Kay. and an Anzac service by Mr. C. J. R. Smith.
