Biography

REX landed at anzac cove  25/4/1915  in the second beach landing he was a bomb thrower .     wounded in action 25/4/1915 . evacuated to hospital ship . returned to unit. embarked gallipoli for egypt 2/6/1916 . arrived in france  8/6/1916 . He met his brother leonard in france  september  1916  they had not seen each other for a few years . A few weeks later leonard was killed at Ypres belgium 30/9/1916. rex served in france and belguim. He left france for australia  18/10/1918. He was discharged   31/1/1919..Rex died   23/4/1964 at the age of  70  . REX SERVED IN THE AUSTRALIAN ARMY FROM 17/8/1914 TO 31/1/1919..  WELL DONE REX                                               WE WILL REMEMBER THEM..
