William Thomas had quite a small family for the time.
Wife: Agnes Josephine Rooney.
Father: James Will.
Mother: Mary Ann Connelly.
Brothers: Charles William (1860-1914), Jeremiah Grant Will (1872-1858), and Peter Murray Will (1874-?).
Sisters: Maitland McLane (1864-1929), Grace Gibson Keiller (1869-?) and Angela J Will (1875-?).
He was Roman Catholic and was baptised along with his siblings. He lived on 43 Avenue Road, Camberwell, Victoria with his wife. William served in the Boer War and then re-enlisted for the First World War. He served on Gallipoli for a week before being evacuated sick, and returned home to Australia on the 3rd of March 1916.
