"DEATHS

DAVIES.- On June 18, 1919 at Biddles No. 20 Auxiliary Military Hospital, South Fremantle, Staff-Sergeant Leopold Alfred Davies, dearly beloved husband of Olive Yearinga Victoria Davies, of Harvey-street, Cottesloe Beach, and formerly returned soldier of the 51st Battalion. Aged 38 years.

A MILITARY FUNERAL

DAVIES.- The Friends of the late Staff-Sergeant Leopold Alfred Davies, of the No. 8 Australian General Hospital, Fremantle, returned soldier, formerly of the 51st Battalion, and of Harvey-street, Cottesloe Beach, are respectfully invited to follow his remains to the place of interment, the Church of England Cemetery, Fremantle. The Funeral will leave Messrs. Arthur E. Davies anid Co.'s Private Mortuary, Market-street, Fremantle, THIS (Thursday) AFTERNOON at 3.30 o'clock, arriving at the Cemetery at 4.15 p.m." - from the West Australian 19 Jun 1919 (nla.gov.au)
