Frank Harris Frost was born on the 19 of February 1897 in Two Wells, South Australia. Before the war, he worked as a Farmer. His next of kin was Father, John Frost. Frost wasn’t married before the war and was only 18 years old when he enlisted. Records show that Frost was 5 foot 7 and weighed 140 lbs. His complexion was fair, with grey eyes and light hair. His religion was the Methodist Christian Church.

Frost enlisted on the 20th of January 1915 at Oaklands in South Australia. On the 26th of August 1915, Frost boarded the Morea in Adelaide and sailed to Egypt for further training.  Gallipoli where he joined the 10th Light Horse Regiment.

Frost proceeded to Gallipoli and was taken on strength with the 9th Light Horse Regiment on 30 October 1915. After the evacuation of Gallipoli he disembarked at Alexandria, 26 December 1916. A few months later, on 22 July 1916, he got sick and went to hospital. On 29 April 1917 he was appointed a Lance Corporal. In August he was sent to rest camp.

The following year in August he was skick again and greated in various hospitals and had another period of time in rest camp in October. He marched in to a training depot later that month before returning to the field. In May 1919 he was promoted to Temporary Sergeant.

Frost came home to Australia on a ship called the Oxfordshire, disembarking at Port Adelaide 10 August 1919. He was discharged 31 October 1919.

Frank Harris Frost passed away in 1973, aged 76. He married Ada Lillian Wheller 1904 - 1970. Together they had two sons, Glen 1928 - 1973 and Ian 1934 - 1955. Frank also faced the heartbreak of losing siblings James 1892 - 1916 and Lucy 1889 - 1917 during the war years.
