Son of James Charles Corker and Catherine Corker nee Sandow of 9 Windermere Road, Ballarat, Victoria.
Brother of Arthur Corker who returned to Australia on the 2 January 1919 having served with the 58th Battalion and Catherine Corker, William John Corker and Thomas Henry Corker
Commenced return to Australia on 2 January 1919 aboard HT Morvada disembarking on the 25 August 1919
During 1927 George married Mabel Melville Slater in Victoria
