John Alexander Diggory STROUT was born in Brisbane, Queensland on 8th January, 1889
His parents were Jesse William STROUT and Jane COOPER
In 1914, in Adelaide, SA he married Effie Agnes Jane DUNN
His brother Leslie Henry George STROUT (SN12791) also served in WW1 and returned to Australia in 1919
John was the Father of O31401 Squadron Leader Graham Strout (/explore/people/500201) who was killed in action in the Korean War on 07 Jul 1950
