Arthur Henry Bowden BAKER was born in Kingsbridge, Devon, UK in 1881
His parents were John Henry BAKER and Catherine BOWDEN who married in Kingsbridge in 1880
He had previously served for 12 years in the British Army including 7 years in Burma before coming to Australia
He married Ethel Penelope TAMLYN in Tasmania in 1914
