Son of James and  Jane Dalgleish of Linda Valley, West Coast, Tasmania

11 January 1916 - suffering from Para-Typhoid and Pneumonia

28 January 1916 - returned to Australia on board Kanowa

While serving on Gallipoli he suffered from Bronchitis and Pleurisy on several occasions

George and some other men were patrolling hotel searching for soldiers who had over stayed leave. There is some doubt as to whether or not all the men were aware the revolver was loaded, The court found that George had accidently discharged the revolver which he was carrying his pocket wounding himself in the left leg below the knee
