Son of William and Linda Mary Bance.
Canon Pike has received word from the Base Records Office in Melbourne that Private Arthur Bance, younger brother of Mr. John Bance, builder, of Trail-street, Wagga, died of wounds at the front on August 13. The deceased soldier, who was attached to the 13th Battalion, was a single man, 45 years of age. He enlisted at Manly ahout 3 years ago and received the wound, which eventually caused his death, on August 8.
