Son of  Patrick and Mary CHERRIE; Husband of Elizabeth GARBUTT (formerly CHERRIE), Railway Terrace, Wingello, NSW

Mrs. Elizabeth Cherrie, of Wollongong Road, Arncliffe, has been informed by the military authorities that her husband,  Corporal  Wane Cherrie, was killed in action at Flanders, on September 19 last. He was 31 years of age, and enlisted in July, 1915. Previous  to enlisting he was in the employ of the Railway Commissioners.
