"...3279 Corporal Ernest Angus Brown, 25th Battalion, of Ballarat, Vic. Pte Brown was a bank accountant before enlisting on 6 August 1915. He embarked from Brisbane on HMAT Itonus on 30 December 1915 with the 7th Reinforcements. He was transferred to 9th Battalion on 4 March 1916, and was killed in action in France on 21 August 1916, aged 22." - SOURCE (www.awm.gov.au)
