GOD GIVETH HIS BELOVED SLEEP

Mrs. J.B. Elmore, Rockhampton Road, Mount Morgan, has been advised that her brother Private Robert William Ducker, died of wounds received in France on the 9th instant.  Private Ducker belonged to the Forty-ninth Battalion.  He enlisted on the 21st June 1915, and left Australian on the 9th August of the same hear.  He had been in France about eighteen months.  He was twenty eight years of age and was native of Durham, England.  Private Ducker was a member of the Zingari football team, and prior to enlisting was employed in the Mount Morgan Mine.
