Uncle Albert
Albert Victor Carlaw enlisted for service in WW1 along with his brother John (Jack)'
Reginald Carlaw. Both lived at Annandale, NSW, at the time of their enrolment. Both served on the Western Front, and returned to Australia eventually. Albert lived at Leichhardt, NSW, for a great deal of his life. He married a widow, Annie Colbran, who presented him with a son, Ronald Carlaw, in the late 1920's. He died in 1974.
