Son of William Manners and May Humphries; Arrived in Queensland in 1892. Enlisted in World War 1 - Private - 7723 - 9th Infantry Battalion. Spent 2 years in AIF Hospital, Kangaroo Point, Brisbane. Father's Address was - Ridley Street, Auchenflower, Brisbane
