Constable George Henry Stock aged 47 years assistant police photographer died yesterday In the Caulfield Military Hospital War wounds in his legs caused his death. He had been ill for about three weeks Constable Stock joined the police force in 1929.

Funeral of Constable Stock At St. Kilda
Four mounted troopers and the police band preceded the hearse at the funeral of Constable George Henry Stock, former police photographer, at St. Kilda Cemetery yesterday afternoon.
A former member of the 24th and 57th Battalions A.I.F., Constable Stock died at Caulfield Military Hospital on Thursday morning. He leaves a wife and two children.
The Rev. C. A. McMichael performed ceremonies before the funeral left Constable Stock's former home, Oakleigh Road, Carnegie, and at the graveside.
The ritual was read by the president of the Public Service branch of the Returned Soldiers' League (Cr. Southwood) More than 150 members of the police force attended the funeral. Coffin bearers were Messrs. W. H. MacDonald, T. MacDonald, R. W. Trewartha and G. C. Graham, and pall-bearers were Inspector Stanley, Senior-Constables Martin and Brown, and Constables Boyd, Rochfort. Arblaster, Cannon and McFarlane.
Funeral arrangements were made by Messrs. Bathurst and Decker, of Caulfield.
