Mr. John McKellar, of Ballangeich, has been officially advised that his son, Pte. Mitchell McKellar, died of wounds in Germany about the middle of April. Pte. McKellar was previously reported missing on 11th April last, and it is evident that he was wounded and taken prisoner and subsequently succumbed to his injuries while in the hands of the enemy.
