Biography

 

Sapper William Henry Maddern of 1st Tunnelling  Division of Miner's Corps (pictured on left) with his only son, Lance Corporal William Thomas Maddern, MM of 28th Battalion AIF taken very probably in Northern France during 1916 when both served on the Western Front.
