CARVOLTH.—In loving memory of our dear son, and brother, Private Herbert William (Bert.) Carvolth, 26th Battalion, killed in action in France, 5th October, 1917.
Duty called him, and he was there
To do his bit and take his share.
His heart was good, his spirit brave,
His resting place soldier's grave ;
And in our hearts unceasingly,
Fond thoughts of him will burn.
