4 Oct 1917:	Wounded 2895, 8th Machine Gun Company, Third Ypres, Hit by a shell at about 6am 04/10/1917 somewhere in front of Zonnebeke during the attack on Passchendaele. Admitted to No. 8 Stationary Hospital suffering from G.S.W. to back, head & face. Died at 9.55pm on 16/10/1917.
