The Minmi Roll of Honour has 77 names inscribed of those who returned home from The Great War.

The 76th name inscribed is Sapper David Wilson.

I do not know when David died, or where buried or ashes interred, or if he ever married, so any information would be greatly appreciated.

Sapper David Wilson, 1st Australian Tunnelling Company (Reg No-6651), single labourer from Minmi, New South Wales, born at Minmi, New South Wales on the 3rd October 1890 to David P, died?, and Lucy M Wilson, died?

David enlisted on the 15th February 1916 with the Tunnelling Companies - Sept 1916 to Feb 1918 Reinforcements, age 25 years 4 months, at Bellingen, N.S.W.

Unit embarked from Melbourne, Victoria on board R.M.S. Omrah on the 17th January 1917.

Disembarked Devonport, England 27.3.1917.

Proceeded O/Seas to France from Folkestone, England 14.4.1917.

Admitted to hospital 23.8.1918 (dental), 22.1.1919 (influenza).

Commenced return to Australia 25.9.1919.

David arrived home on the 17th November 1919, being discharged on the 1st January 1920.

Not officially commemorated.
