James Gray
James was born in Maldon Victoria,he was a miner and joined the Army on the 2/12/1915 at the age of 48,he served with the 3rd Tunnelling Company in France.
He embarked for duty on the 20/2/1916.
He served in France at the same time as his two sons, Edwin Allen Gray, CSM Australian Engineers and Leslie James Gray 48th Battalion.
James returned to Australia 4/5/1917.
