Described on enlisting as 32 years 8 months of age; 5' 4.5" tall; 160 lbs;
dark complexion; brown eyes; dark brown hair; Church of England

03/12/1914  enlisted into WWI at Liverpool, NSW
                   place of enlisting Victoria Barracks, Sydney, NSW

19/02/1915  embarked Sydney, NSW onboard HMAT A54 Runic
                   as a Driver with 1st Field Artillery Brigade, 2nd and 3rd Reinforcements

10/04/1915  proceeded to join Mediterranean Expeditionary Forces, Gallipoli

04/09/1915  sick with Para Typhoid - transferred to 15th General Hospital,
                   ex Alexandria

23/09/1915  embarked onobard THS Kooroola for England
05/10/1915  admitted to 3rd Western General Hospital, Cardiff, England
