Henry suffered many bouts of Malaria, Gastritis & Myalgia resulting in being taken off strength and returned to Australia on board "Port Darwin" This would have been a relief to his parents William and Mary Curtis of Wonnerup as his 2 brothers, George Edward & Aubrey Edward Curtis had both been Killed in Action.
