Aubrey James WETHERALL was born on 21st November, 1891 in Warialda, NSW

His parents were Robert WETHERALL & Phillipa Jane COCK who married in NSW in 1872

He enlisted on 4th April, 1917 and embarked from Melbourne on 2nd November, 1917 with the 7th Light Horse Regiment, 30th Reinforcements on the HMAT Commonwealth

Aubrey was Killed in Action in Palestine on 15th July, 1918 - no known grave

His name is memorialised on the Australian War Memorial, the Jerusalem Memorial & there is a memorial headstone for him in Gore Hill Cemetery in Sydney along with other family members
