Son of William George MADDAMS and Harriett nee SHELTON, Kangaroo Flat, Victoria.
Mr. W. G. Maddams, of Kangaroo Flat, has received word to the effect that his son, Private George Maddams; of the 7th Battalion, was admitted 27/9/ 17 to the 1st Southern General Hospital, Birmingham, suffering from severe gunshot wounds in the thigh. This soldier enlisted in July, 1915, and sailed in September of the same year. His brother, Lance- Corporal T. Maddams, is fighting in France.
