Country News
Country News, Legume, NSW, From a correspondent.
On Monday evening last a welcome home was extended to Driver Lex. Inglis and his English bride, who have just returned from England where he had a position since the conclusion of the great war. Although the function was hurriedly arranged there was a very large number present from the surrounding districts as well as from Killarney. Mr. Hampstead presided. Mr. H. Gray made a presentation to Driver Inglis of the usual war medal. Driver Inglis suitably responded. During the evening music was supplied voluntarily, and a very happy time was spent by all. – from the Warwick Daily News, 31 May 1923
