Private J. C. HOSKIN (June) was killed in action in France on August 22. He sailed from the Outer Harbor on December 16, 1916, with reinforcements of the 43rd Battalion. He was reported gassed in June, and rejoined his battalion shortly before his death. He was employed on a farm at Solomontown before enlisting. - AUSTRALIAN SOLDIERS. (1918, September 28).
