"...Captain Eric Robert Booth of the 8th Infantry Brigade, 29th Battalion. Capt Booth, of Ascot Vale, Vic, enlisted on 19 January 1915 as a Second Lieutenant. He was an engineer by profession when he embarked aboard HMAT Ascanius from Melbourne on 10 November 1915.
