Son of Robert Kinnnon and Katherine Ester Pearce Kinnon nee Miles of Glenella, Mackay, Qld. Brother of John Douglas Kinnon MM who returned to Australia 18 December 1918 having served with 4th Machine Gun Battalion; Henry Kinnon, Geoerge Kinnon, Elizabeth Kinnon and Rubina Kinnon
