TAYLOR rendered valuable service during the heavy German bombardment which had stopped our Machine Guns and bombs from being brought forward for the attack. All movement was held up and the communication trenches destroyed, Pte. TAYLOR however took and brought back messages of great importance a distance of 800 yards each way. | |
