Died of wounds at sea aboard H.S. "Clacton"
Pte. Michael Malloy (died of wounds) was a native of Scotland. He was one of the first to enlist. He has another brother Pte. George Malloy, aged 19, in the same company, also a third brother, aged 17, in the Scottisch home defence forces. A married brother, Patrick Malloy, resided at Coledale, South Coast. The two brothers Michael and George arrived in Sydney from Scotland in March, 1913. At the time of enlisting they were employed as coal miners in Abermeain, Maitland district.
