6th Light Horse Regiment
Awarded special mention in Divisional Orders for acts of conspicuous gallantry 'on the occasion of the demonstration made by the 2nd Light Horse Brigade on 12th July, 1915', 19 July 1915 (Lt Ferguson 'handled his troop with great gallantry, and helped to carry in a wounded N.C.O. at the end of the action under heavy fire').
He died June 22 1962 in Concord hospital and is buried in Maquarie Park cemetery
