Spelling of Family Name has been incorrectly recorded at WHITELY on the official Embarkation Roll. The official Service Record provides verification as per individual's signature on the Enlistment document that the correct spelling is WHITELEY. This is further supported by the the AWM Roll of Honour Circular which was completed by the Father of the Serviceman.
