Ordinary Signalman John Christopher Nesbitt, 18, is the son of Mr. C. J. Nesbitt, O.B.E., and Mrs. Nesbitt, of Queen street, Yatala East. He joined the Navy at 16, and in September, 1941, was posted to the Perth.
