Harry was born as Henry Alfred HACK at Macquarie Plains, Tasmania on 24th March, 1888
His parents were Joseph HACK & Louisa Sarah STOCK
He enlisted in Ross, Tasmania on 1st November, 1915 and embarked with the 12th Infantry Battalion, 15th Reinforcements from Melbourne on the HMAT Ballarat on 19th February, 1919
Harry was Killed in Action between the 19th to 22nd August, 1916 - no known grave - his name is memorialised on the Australian War Memorial & the Villers Bretonneux Memorial
