Leonard Ronald CARTER was born in Adelaide, South Australia on 10th June, 1916

His parents were William Bertram CARTER & Ruby Evelyn Claudia BENSCH who married in St. Pauls Church in Adelaide on 3rd October, 1908

He married Ennis May SHIPP in Victoria in 1944

Leonard died in Victoria on 20th August, 2016, aged 100 years & late of Manor, Baxter Village

His brother Rothney Alex CARTER (SN 28288) served during WW2 in the RAAF & died on 2nd May, 1945 in Burma
