Edward 'Ned' Foley served in the Royal Australian Air Force from the 28th of April 1941 until the 16th of May 1946. Before enlisting, he was a Junior Salesman. He lived on 56 Hargrave Street, Largs Bay, South Australia and was 20 years old and 2 months when he enlisted and was a Roman Catholic.
