Roy Herbert WOOLLACOTT was born on 8th August, 1910 in Aberdeen, South Australia
His parents were Thomas Henry WOOLLACOTT & Nellie Pearson WESTMORELAND who married in Victoria in 1908
He married Myrtle Sylvina Mary STUBING in South Australia in 1935
He enlisted in Adelaide on 22nd June 1940 and served with the Royal Australian Air Force - his last rank was Flight Lieutenant with the 100 Squadron
Roy died on 5th September, 1943 during a Flyiing Battle at Gasmata - no known grave
His name is memorialised on the Australian War Memorial and the Rabaul Memorial to the Missing

His brother Thomas Henry Hillam WOOLLACOTT (SN SX18743 served in the Australian Army during WW2 and died on 20th January, 1943
Another brother Robert Pearson WOOLLACOTT (SN S42945) enlisted but nothing more is known
